I did! The "Busted Cherry" in indeed the king of the hill! Congrats!
wow, that's an incredible piece few kit. Very reasonable price as well given you NEVER see them turn up. I hope it sells. It's a little too much for my 26 Coupe haha, though I am on the hunt for a 4 valve Rajo.
We didn't even break it this time.
Am interested just checking finances
Lots of interest. Still available.
Lots of interest; however, no money put on the table. This will be a missed opportunity for someone as these parts very seldom make themselves available for purchase.
I will take $2,200 for the complete set and will also pay for domestic shipping. First come first serve. Mark Chaffin (951) 805-0928
Hi Mark just out of curiosity has any of the homework been done on this project towards making the gears or the camshafts. It's a very cool project but the unknowns are kind of overwhelming
Do you have any paperwork with dimensions or resources to making this project go further with the new buyer?
I have been told Stipe has the specs for the camshafts and has made a few over the years. I am also aware Dan McEachern has a copy of the original specifications for machining all the other parts (gears, pins, cup followers, etc.) I have made several attempts to contact Dan to see if he would be willing to share the information with a potential buyer; however, I have been unable to contact him as of late. I know Dan has his own set of castings as well as another belonging to a friend and has plans to make the parts in the future. Dan said he would be willing to make me a set when he makes the parts for the other two setups. If you want to discuss further, give me a call (951) 805-0928.
I'm not that hard to get in contact with. A PM always works if you can't find a phone. or DMCGEARSATYAHOODOTCOM. Shop # is 510-532-8228.
Thanks Dan! I've had a few inquiries regarding the parts. I have tried to call several times to see if it was ok to share your contact information regarding what you may be able to provide (specifications, parts, etc.)
Bottom dollar $2,100. I can't go any lower on the price. Mark Chaffin (951) 805-0928
Last call. $2,100 and I'll pay the domestic shipping.
