FS The inner two shells for the black era muffler. These are new repros. $10.00 each or $15.00 for the pair plus shipping in the lower 48. I can text pictures. Dave

David, most of the black era mufflers used the tailpipe as the smaller inner shell. Are yours for the cast end mufflers used up until the pressed steel ends?

Hope this helps avoid any confusion.

They are the same as the earlier ones, except there will not be an inner.

Allan, Not sure. I got them a long time ago with some other parts at a swap meet I think. Probably for a cast end muffler. Dave

Larry, on our Canadian sourced cars, the outer shells are the same. If there are two inner shells, they are from a cast end muffler. The larger inner shells are the same for both cast end and pressed end mufflers. The cast end smaller shell is larger than the tailpipe, which does make the inner 'shell' on the later pressed end mufflers.
