Not dog leg but later style. Photos should show condition. It has been drilled for 3/8th pipe thread and there is some porosity in the outer casting next to the hole. Brass fitting is included. It has the metal pins so do not think it is a repo. $75 plus shipping. Depending on your zip, should be med flat rate box but can work with you to get lowest cost. Pay-Pal, money order or check. Thanks

Hi, I have the same Aluminum intake at home. It has been drilled either for 3/8th pipe, but I do not know what to do with the hole? What kind of Brass fitting will fill out the hole. Can someone explain what is the purpose of the hole? I thought it have something to do with the carb. But more information will be appreciated for my personal education.

Kind regards,

Mario :-)

Mario.
3/8" pipe plug will do the job, iron or brass
In later years vacuum windshield wipers and distributor advance mechanisms were the usual need for manifold vacuum. During this early Model T era it was mixture leaning to try to get better fuel milage ( usually at the expense of burned valves).
Here is however an extremely rare vacuum powered accessory...A Vacuum cleaner for your car!

You could also install a priming cup or vacuum whistle like Wolf Whistle. :-) Standard 3/8 pipe thread plug would fill the hole or have it aluminum welded shut.

I was once told that on farms they would hook a milking machine to it for the vacuum. I sometimes don't know what I am talking about just ask my wife
