Tire pump is still for sale. Also have a steel tube double cylinder bridgeport tire pump just like the one pictured except for steel tubes and not as clean a condition meaning metal parts are rusty and the wood handle is not as nice, but can be made functional with new cup washers and a hose.$70 plus actual shipping. These are the correct pre 1920 pump that came with the model t tool kit.

Jeff, what was the thought process behind the double tube pump ??? I have one also and wondered why, possibly twice the amount of air pumped with each stroke ??? Just curious.

John,
With a double cylinder pump the larger cylinder piston compresses the air on the down stroke, the smaller cylinder piston compresses the air on the up stroke, so less wasted motion and shorter time to fill a tube with air. There were also triple cylinder pumps back in the day.

WOW, hey thanks Jeff, kinda figured it would be something like pumping air faster. Been a antique/classic car collector for over 50 years and I have never seen a 3 tube pump. Would like to have one someday, thanks for responding Jeff.
