James, yes, both available. PM me your info, check payment preferred. Thanks
FWIW, Most numbers I listed, I have around 50 pieces. Just PM me with what you need and where to ship. Be patient, I'm not retired like some of you...lol
I will post when I get low (which may not be long at this rate!)
I think it would be nice to know who the company is that made them. I've seen some inferior looms over the years.
Larry, sorry I can't answer that.
My dad bought them over 20 years ago and he has been gone for 15....
I will say that they look to be top quality. I sold a couple sets and shipped already, before this ad. Maybe we can get some feedback ?
I got one, nice heavy wires, color coding matched prints, nicely crafted, heavy loom. No aluminum ford tag on mine, but I mentioned to Dave he may want to check his bigger ones. I’m picky but very pleased. Thanks to his dad for saving these for the future. Hope this helps, t
I need a kit for 1914 (Model 5030)

Paul, send me a PM.
I have plenty.
FYI, I received several checks today.
Rather than email everyone, just putting it here.
The wife is depositing the checks today and hopefully they'll clear Monday and I will mail everything out then.
I will send you a tracking number then.
As more checks come, I will wait until I have several to make less trips to the PO for my wife.
Thank you all for the responses and mom thanks you too !!
(This stuff is all being sold to help with her health care)
Thanks MTFCA forum !
I have LOTS more...
For the folks wanting a Ford script loom, we’ve made the little “Ford” tags from a aluminum can. Take a small ford wrench with the small script a couple pieces of leather and a tab of aluminum cut from the can, put these into vise and squeeze it down you may have to do this a few times to get it as clear as you want it. But most every T I’ve owned had a script wiring harness, after you get it pressed out, now cut out to shape with pointed ends find the wrap seams in the loom and insert the pointed ends under the wrap flatten it out and put a drop of super glue on each end you stick under the wrap and your done... 95% of the folks looking at it will never know the difference..!
A lot still available...
I would like 5031, 5042, 5038, and 5029 let me know what you have.
I have 5031 & 5042, not the other two. PM me and I can give you a price with shipping.

Glad you're pleased.
Still have nearly 80 of each number...
5031B I have about 30 left, 5030, 5031, 5041, 41E and 5042 all about 80 of each.
Found an interesting letter from Doug McIntosh to Jim Cook from around the corner from me. I gather Jim was making these harnesses and was intending to sell them to Mac's... The deal must have fell through and my dad ended up with them.
Jim had a couple Ts at one time, but was mainly an Indian MC guy. He also made rubber battery cases for different old batteries and molded other rubber parts like floorboard pads etc. He and his wife passed away recently and the house, huge red barn (machine shop), has all been torn down and the property sold to a developer...
Back when people actually use a pen and paper...
Jim's Printing tells me he must of had an engineering or drafting background?
Erick, actually Jim did have an engineering background, he worked for Goodyear, I believe. (My grandfather worked at Goodrich, most everyone around here from the old days worked at the rubber factories).
But the letter is TO Jim from Doug McIntosh...
I used to work on Jim and his grandkids' car, but the kids all moved away.
At one time, Jim had over a dozen Indian bikes and a bunch of scooters.
After his wife died I revived a 64 Falcon convertible that had been sitting for about 10 years, for his son in law.
Would like to purchase:wiring

PS: Hi Jim Davis,

My package arrived, with all the harnesses inside and a "bonus" train piece. They look very well made, and Dave shipped quickly. Guys, this is DEAL; get 'em while ya can!
I even got some for the projects I probably won't get to for a few years; I figure it's "Money in the shop" as long as we don't have a wild-fire.
Five harnesses requested via a PM.
Thanks Tom Miller
I got my harnesses today as well as some other goodies from Dave. Dave has alot of other parts also. Great guy and prompt. If you need a harness its a great deal. I ordered one just because the color is faded on one of mine. For the price you cant go wrong!
Dave, I just sent you a PM. Thanks in advance!
Why the feeding frenzy? Are these no longer being made?
Thank you Dave, Nice quality and quick ship. I got some just for insurance, I have six Ts. Erick

I'm rewiring a 1915 for speedster, with a 1919 engine w/ a starter. I assume the 1919 harness would be best. I would like one if you have one left. I you have something else that will work that will be o.k. since i'm going a adapt wiring to fit speedster and a DU 4 mag.
Sent you a message Tom...

Btt 5031B are almost all gone...

Bump to push down drug ads
Hi Dave, I will take one of each. Thanks
Sent you a message John...
5031B commutator harnesses, I have about 5-6 left.
5030, 31, 41, 41E and 5042 still available with lots of each left.
Thanks again MTFCA and for all of your purchases and great comments !
Pending payment, 5031B is sold out...I have enough to fill the orders already placed.
I was great to visit and meet with you at your shop yesterday! Thanks again for your time, hospitality and your allowing me the opportunity to dig through your barns-full of original T parts. Finally, many thanks for working with me regarding the "treasures" I brought home with me!
Take care and Happy New Year!
Dave nice letter from Mac's at that time in 1985 Mac's was getting them from Cole's and they were putting the harness's with the FORD tag.My wife made all the harness's back then upto 1999
Interesting RJ...how many did your wife make ? Only minus the tag, these are well made also.
I don't know any more than what the letter says. When exactly my dad acquired them, I am not sure. Between 85 and 2003...
Yes Rick, always nice to put a face with the name.
Glad you're all good now, I forgot to show you the tire pump...
Thanks for shopping your friendly T-Mart. lol
Till next time
They made the t harness ‘s from 1977-2007 with the ford tag She was making thousands a year and they supplied all the t catalog companies Mac s Birdhaven Chaffin Smith n Jones Lang’s etcalso doing switches and spark plug wires which we still mfg. What happened to the braiders?
My wife said that they made them also with out the tags and did a lot of custom harness manufacturing
Should I get a harness for a future project? I don't have a T yet..but Looking for 1926-27. Which one would I need?
William, check out the Lang's Old Car Parts website. All the #'s are listed.
I would wait until You buy the car. So You know which one's the car uses and and it needs any.
All the Major T houses sell the wiring harness's So they are available. If You buy the wrong one there goes the money You saved.
"My two cents worth maybe less"
If he knows he is going to buy a 26-27 car, Dave's offer to help everyone is a real savings.
IN MY 2017 LANG's CATALOGUE:
#5031B, Commutator wire harness
Lang's, $20.00 plus shipping
#5041E, Lighting wire harness
Lang's, $40.00 plus shipping
#5042B, Switch wire harness
Lang's, $22.00 plus shipping
TOTAL FOR ALL THREE UNITS = $72.00 plus shipping and I'll bet you they will get $13.00 to package and ship all three units. That totals $85.00
I purchased all three from Dave for $40.00 plus $8.00 postage. That totals $48.00
Again, if he knows he is going to invest in a 26-27, buying them from Dave will probably save at least $40.00 because I am going by their 2017 prices. Finally, the harnesses that Dave is selling have beautiful and correct coloring and they are awesome quality. The quality I have seen being supplied recently by any of the parts suppliers is truly not as nice. I actually didn't need any harnesses at this point, but bought them for the future because they are such a good value.
Rick.I agree bought several set's Myself. good quality and He can always resell them if He ends up getting a pre 26 T. What You want and want You wind up with are not always the same. especially when shopping for Your first model T.
Dave, do you have wiring harnesses #5042, 5031, and 5041 . THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP
Dave, I could use a 5041E and 5042B. If you have a 5031B left I'd take it also. I'll send a PM.
Great wiring harnesses! Got mine and can't wait for spring to come so I can get it in my Tudor. Thanks Dave!
That was money well spent, thanks Dave.
