A few days ago I posted about missing band rivets ( http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/822076/918421.html?1543544803 ).
I have now removed the Hogshead and drained the oil. I cannot find any foreign material and nothing in the old oil. Would you recommend flushing the trans in an effort to find the missing suspects. If so what would you recommend using? Any other tricks?
Do I need to also remove the pan?
You're in the classifieds...
But you may not find them. You can try some kerosene, but I wouldn't get it on the bands much. You can try compressed air first, blow all over and then flush it if you don't see anything.
Blow out the oil tube regardless.
OPPS!!! Sorry about that.
