This pair does have batteries but long since dead. You have to push in a button and turn the top but it didn't want to turn and I didn't force it. Maybe a piston vice and strap wrench would do it. Lenses look good. The bottoms say Economy Electric ECOLITE Lantern Company Chicago. As with the other pair,I believe I got these at Hershey in the 1980's but not sure. These have a long loop on the sides,maybe to store them on a rack or hang them in use. You put them out if you are broke down at night to keep from getting run into of course.
