What is an extension top?
A typical Model T or other folding top such as is on My 1910 touring.
GONE TO JAIL FOR 12 MONTHS ?
Jordan Auto Company was located at 217 South Fourth Street but the building no longer exists.
Google research of period trade publications indicate that it was established in late 1906 and was a Locomobile agency in 1907.
Northwestern Automobile Automobile Company was actually the large Ford agency in Minneapolis at that time (1903 through approx. 1912).
He was exiled to an Australian Penal Colony ...
So they sent him to jail for buying a Ford six cylinder instead of a Pierce Arrow?
Didn't they send Lorena Bobbitt to a penal colony?
AW Steve your a real cut up!
Ouch, jail for buying a K, then.... the unthinkable. You guys are vicious.
He was a repeat offender for speeding in town this is the only thing the JP thought would slow him down.
I've heard of the man who passed sentence, judge royce bean!! Bud.
Well, as long as we've gone this far........another Model K "offender."
This is the last instance of a Model K used for everyday driving I've found. The account appeared in the "The Washington Herald", December 1918. Ernest G. Gibson is pulled over, and his "six-cylinder Ford" checked for beverages.
The reason he was stopped.........speeding, of course.
It says six cylinder Ford, not Model K. Could have been this one:
Probably a Pierce, they are easy to mix up.
