Chris,

I'm glad you got it back on the road. That is great feeling when you have been able to work on it and then get it going -- and in your case going again. There were several original Ford based speedsters that at first glance a person would miss that there was a Ford heart beat under the hood. And your speedster captures some really pleasing lines. Now all you need is a little warmer weather to really enjoy it or some heavy clothing.

Finallly....the Special STAYS running. Now we can play.

1 year, 4 months and 14 days after tearing the "Special" down to fix the broken crank, We are finally ready to put some miles it!

As Chris said, we still have a few minor adjustments....but otherwise, the ol' girl is ready to hit the pavement.

Here are a few highlights from yesterdays "play time" :D

Dennis I will be making some time soon I got to convince Clayton to go again with the roadster. Gotta get some miles on her first not gonna break it like that again thats for sure! Would look good sitting on the salt though!!!
