Perhaps The Most Imaginative New Car Showroom Ever – The Reo “Booth” at the Helsinki Auto Show: The scene above was just outside the 1927 Helsinki Automobile Show. It appears that the clever Importer built and erected this showroom to upstage all of the competition, before the attendees had even had a chance to enter the Auto Show. Holy Crap! That is wild!!
I would like to meet the guy who parallel parked that thing for the show...
So at that show REO was first across the Finnish line.
Wonder if REO Speedwagon was playing at the show.
Not a big line up. Maybe most couldn't a-Ford the admission fee.
Wild. The first thing I thought of was the recently posted pics of Admiral Byrd's monster snow mobile which I believe would fit inside this mega bus with room to spare.
Do you think Olds had his Olds in that showroom?
Here's two more views to ad here.
The chairs up front in the picture look like something you would find at the IKEA store today.
Good Lord! I have NEVER in my life seen such!!!!!
