Has anyone tried to post to the new MTFCI website?

While it does appear to be a great improvement, when I tried to post a note to that effect, I was told I did not have permission to post and would have to login.

When I tried to login, I was told my password was invalid.

When I tried to register and check or change my password, I was told the User ID was in use and I did not have access to that information.

When I tried to contact the webmaster, I never received any reply.

Has my User ID been stolen?

Have I just been banned?

Sounds like a Dangerfield Moment to me!

Try registering with a new user name and start from scratch.

There's a notice in the current MTT asking for a new volunteer webmaster, so that may explain the lack of a reply. Nobody in the driver's seat.

I'd try Jay's suggestion and register again. The name doesn't have to be a lot different. To a computer, one letter makes it a different name. That's why I get duplicate junk mail, one with my name spelled right and another with it misspelled.

Thanks Jay, that was a good tip.

I tried a new name and wound back around to recover my original name.

With a few more trial runs, I actually was able to log in and post a short message.

The real problem is that there is no easy way to recover a forgotten password or for the website to confirm you are really who you appear to be at that access time.

If I start a post here I try and post it on the International site also.
