According to the recently published "Light Car Patrols - War and Exploration in Egypt and Libya with the Model T Ford" LC indicates a vehicle used in the Mediterranean.

The 1st Australian Armoured Car Section came to Egypt in 1916 with a Mercedes & a Daimler, converted to armoured cars, and a Minerva service tender. By Dec 1916, they'd found spares a problem and the vehicles unsuited to sand, so they took over the Model Ts of No 1 Light Car Patrol and ceased to be an armoured unit. So this might be one of their vehicles.

I wonder if any of these units were assigned to
that service. Made by the Snowmobile Co called Sandmobiles. I'm Not sure of the years these were available.
