I have a 26 tudor have the gas tank out cleaned and ready to put back in were the connection for the sediment bulb is there is a opening in the fire wall were it comes through at the bottom of the opening there is a split rivet there for holding something does any one know if there was a seal or cover there to keep the air out . I hope I explained it ok to understand thanks mike

Here's one type of webbing used on the '26/'27 cowl tanks: http://www.modeltford.com/item/2918A.aspx
"webbing that goes between the tank and the firewall, held in with 4 split rivets (heads of rivets can be seen from motor side of firewall)"
