The screw type is the same idea as the Fordson tractor, I think it would had worked just fine

That Fordson just flew over the snow in the video I saw. Can you imagine just how fast the auto adaptation would have been able to go? That car is whole lot lighter than the tractor.

If I had money to toss I would love to build something like that using modern parts and light weight materials and a strong power plant, But like 90% of the nation Im broke so it will never happen

Amazing isn't it? And it was all laid out in 1907 as a double Archimedes' screw design, many years before the Fordson attachment that used a slightly different configuration.

How about this one....How did he expect the prop to drive it if it was enclosed? His patent application shows a screen on the front of the enclosure.
