Jay there are other sales pictures of the Deluxe coupe and here is a real picture of one I believe is a Deluxe coupe. The seat arrangement is the same but the trunk looks different. The wheels on the picture I looked at at 3 lug nuts which looked like a Disteel wheel.
More picture or a real Deluxe coupe
I guess that if you were a passenger, you'd prefer to sit in the back seat.
Mike, you got that right. My wife would not even think of using that little jump seat up front.
Willie, Thanks for the photos!
What is the purpose of the boxed structure over the drivers side rear wheel? Additional storage space due to a diminished trunk?
Gary, that box behind the drivers is storage. It goes all the way to the floor.
Tom, the gas tank is in the trunk. There was a vacuum type fuel pump under the hood. It did not work when I got the car. I left it on the firewall and put an electric pump under the car with a regulator. (works great and is out of sight)
One last comment on the Deluxe coupe.
Restoring a car and not changing anything is very difficult. If I started replacing things like the upholstery, where do I stop. I did "not" even if it had some bad stains.
Headliner was hanging around you ears and full of rat poop. I managed to clean it and tack it back in place.
Wiring was also a bit of a puzzle. I did get everything to work and added a turn signal control as there were lights on front and back that could be used for this and brake lights.
Have fun with those Ts
