Yesterday we were invited to show our cars at The Flower Fields in Encinitas. We had nine T's on the tour and about 20 Model A's and ended up parking in the middle of 500 acres of ranunculus, quite a sight.
I was a good day out, run of 25 miles on back roads to get there, the ladies loved the flowers, a good lunch and then a good run home.
If it had not been for the Bakersfield swap meet, we would have loved going on the tour. Every year, we attend the Bakersfield swap meet along with many others from the San Diego area. The swap spaces we have at Bakersfield have RV hook ups which are in high demand.....been in the same spaces for many years and don't want to loose them.
Gorgeous setting for a gorgeous bunch of cars!
Your first picture looks like one of those hand colored postcards from the 1920s.
