I have the sleeve remover coming tomorrow but don't understand how it works anybody know of any videos?
Located the hole in the sleeve, hint grease cup, install puller pin in the hole and collapse the sleeve towards the groove. It will spin out.

Take out the grease cup first. Sometimes caked grease in the hole in the sleeve has to be scraped off by a bent piece of wire for the puller pin to fasten good enough in the hole so you can twist it out.
When putting the sleeve back I use a hose clamp to collapse the new sleeve enough to put it in the axle housing, then use the tool.
Here is one of Steve's great videos showing the use of the hose clamp that Roger mentioned:
Mark what is that black rubber seal he put in before the sleeve? I don't have one of them
John...that's the grease seal that goes in before the sleeve. A must have
One of these, they do a better job of keeping gear lube away from the outer axle bearings than the original Ford felt seals did:
Steve Jelf is the recent king of rear axle disassembly, he bought a pile of them to keep them from getting scrapped and has been taking them apart one after another to see if they have any usable parts.
