I had to haul some brush up to the pile in the woods on Saturday so I figured it would be a good day to use the doodlebug. My son was riding on the front of the trailer. About 3/4 of the way there I heard him say something about a rear when. Once I stopped and looked down I realized we were on the verge of some excitement.
Thankfully we got it stopped before it came clear off of the shaft. Since we were on an old railroad base a few minutes with a jack and some tools and we were back at it.
I decided to pick up some rocks when I was up there. It doesn't take too much time on this thing to realize it took a real man to put a lot of hours on it. It's still fun, though.
