Jan and I spent yesterday with Dave Huson. He gave us a tour of his shop and then took us in his '16 touring up to Estes Park where we saw a herd of about 30 elk. We then continued on a climb on up to Rainbow Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park. This is where Dave took the picture many of you have seen of his '16 touring next to the snow bank many feet taller than his car. This was as far as we could go as the road was closed to further travel due to the snow. At this point the elevation was nearly 12,000 feet. Much of this trip was along the Big Thompson river that flooded a year ago. We saw some of the terrible devastation caused by the flood and the rebuilding efforts that are under way.
Dave received many admiring comments for his '16 wherever we stopped.
Dave is truly an Ambassador for his beautiful state of Colorado and the Model T hobby!
