I got to finally drive the can-o-worms 27 today. She's not real pretty yet but getting there. It did pretty good after several adjustings of the bands. I have the low speed as loose as I can get it and not hit the floor. I was told that is the way to set kevlar bands. I need to tighten the reverse band a little bit when I change the oil. The brake band seems OK for now. It still has a stumble to the throttle and runs a little rough for me. Im getting some new coil man coils so maybe that will fix it. Im also going to install my NOS (original) New Day Timer. I still have to paint the front fenders , and do a whole body blend of the paint to get the body to match the doors , but shes close .......
Woot woot!! Lookin' good Donnie. Some of my favorite drives have been when the T wasn't really ready yet but she was close enough to be driven around and I just couldn't stand it any more. I know you want to get the color uniform but I really like the black with the yellow rims. I kinda have a thing for yellow. As Ricks says, YFAF! (Yellow Fords are Faster)
Looking good, sure looks a lot like my car
I like the custom red neck top.
Lol I think if I remember correctly his top actually looks fantastic, he's just got it taped up to keep it clean while painting and working on rest of car.
Joe, It looks like one of those plastic hair covers women wear to keep their hair from getting wet in the rain. We have had a lot of rain lately, Maybe "Lizzie" did not want her top to get wet. ??
