Over the winter I had Ron the Coilman rebuild my coils. Found one to be dead and couldn't be repaired. I just installed a new accurate model t timer from TW Components. Car runs great. I rebuilt the engine couple years ago yet it never ran better than tonight. Thanks guys

I am about to try a TW commutator. Great to see some feedback. Pity the New Day are all gone, I loved that commutator.

I think it'll take a while but folks will eventually love the TW as much or more than the New Days. I've too many excellent reviews that mention how well it makes the car run. Plus, the only negative thing I heard was the little bit of attention required to install it (which really isn't that big of a deal).

While I haven't had the opportunity (yet) to try one, I understand Tony has developed a way to more easily install the brush assembly, has some sort of thin wire with it to do so. Just don't know how the wire is removed once the brush/cap is installed.
I do like the one I have. Will eventually be buying one or two more as time progresses.

Tim
There is a wire about 8 inches long with a loop for your finger to pull the wire away after the cover is installed over the brush.
