HELP!!! We bought a building in Normandy, TN that had a Model T lift in it. The old timers in the area remember their old Model Ts being lifted on it. We needed the lift out to gain floor space. This weekend we finally got it out and onto a trailer.
Here's the problem. My husband is in a stew to recycle it. I say it is a piece of history and should be saved. It has movable V things that held the axels of the car to lift it. The hydraulic cylinder is still in the floor but could be extracted. All the bolts have been saved and it could be put back into operation by an enthusiast.
Are you interested? I have been given a day or two to find a buyer before it goes to recycling. My phone number is 931-409-7858. My email is karen.browning@tcsedu.net. Give me a call if interested! Thanks!

Bill, I am sure the forum would like to see pictures of the lift as well as the environment if you wouldn't mind.

PS: I believe if one person says it, 20 more are thinking it. With that being said, please thank Karen for going out of her way to contact us and thank you for buying if from them!

Robert;

I hope that Karen responds here or to my voice-mail or to my PM.

I wrote Karen back in early January, but I don't think I heard back from her.

I'd very much like to prevent this lift from going to the scrap yard, and to get it into working order again.

Yes, there will be many pictures taken.

She had pictures of that lift on here a while back and had a guy going to pick it up. Guess he didn't get it.

I talked with Karen this morning; we're tentatively scheduled to get together Tuesday afternoon.

I hope to hear from her husband in the next couple of days to confirm.

I'll get pictures.
