I recently found a mint condition Weaver Auto Twin Jack by a dumpster. I've done a basic search for them online and they look pretty darn handy but I can't find what one of them would go for. Short of loading it up and heading to "Pawn Stars" does anyone have an idea?
I'd give you $250 for it. Where are you and the jack located?
In Illinois. This has seriously never been used so right now I'm just interested in finding out what a value would even be, heck it's so nifty I might actually use it myself ;-)
I tried eBay and googled it a lot. I found one guy who bought one for $400 and tried to sell it for $400 but couldn't confirm that he actually moved it at that price. Can you post pictures?
Seth isn't the only one. A couple of years ago I saw one of these jacks sell for $200 at an auction.
They are handy as a pocket on a shirt, as I have 2

Don't waste you time with pawn stars, they only know what is written in the script.
John is right,I have two also, and use them all the time. It's a bit of a workout on a model A , and do work much easier on a T. Great tire savers in winter, too. Mine are a matched pair, still with original green paint and decals. I think they were a Buy-it-now on eBay out of Vermont, around $400. Sold my two old greasy ones, and had some money left over.
This is a quick picture I took at night. I'll upload a better one when I get home. I think the place that had it by the dumpster had no idea what it was...
This is a bad picture taken at dark, I'll get a better one when I get home.
LOL Gustaf, it was just a thought Art, your post is what gave me the idea of this page to ask on!
Here's a better picture.
Sold one last year in March to a guy in FL. $200 is what I got and he paid the shipping. Never seen one painted Gold, and could you post a picture of the wood handle.
one sold at Auction last weekend in wv. for $130
If it was by a dumpster, did they even care if you took it home?
Nope Jared, I checked...it was taking room and they didn't want to deal with it...
Nice score Kelli! With two of these on a flat concrete floor and two people you can easily spin Lizzie around 360 degrees with very little effort.
Kelli
I bid $350 and will arrange transport.

I think of them as auto art you can use. They are often missing this little piece that keeps the handle upright. Both mine cAme with this casting that slides on the I-beam sides. Can't figure out what they are for, any ideas? I will check the other to see if the decal is better.
Ron, my husband told me to tell you we would accept that bid (we have a daughter graduating and no Model T and no use for it) anyone else want to bid?
Kelli, that is a really good offer. It'll be going to a good home.
Ron will put it to good use, can't find a finer fellow
Sell it to Ron, that is an over market offer and the best place it can go. It won't go into some shed to rust away but will be made as new and used on T cars, not abused as a pallet jack or some other use that will damage it.
Well, to the money bags go the spoils. =) I'd use it a lot too. I have a mechanical Walker jack that I use all the time.
Ron pd a resonable price for it, I pd 400.00 plus 150.00 trucking to get my last one
I paid $50 for one of mine and $75 for the other at two different swap meets over 10 years or so ago. I passed a restored one up at a swap meet last year for $200 since I already have two.
awwww Ron, they all love you! What a great testimony!! That would be fine. I'll private message you.
