Was there a coupe that was manufactured to have a removable turtle deck like the Runabout?

All Coupes and Couplets prior to 1923 could have the wood frame and sheet metal removed. I think part of the body wood would still show at the bottom though. I think it was around 1923 or 24 that the rear quarters were integral with the body. But... That's from memory.

Jay -- I think only the '24 and '25 Coupes had integral turtles.

According to Fords information found in the MTFCA encyclopedia the 23 Coupes built after August Ford called 24's due to the body changes made in the latter part of the 23 model year. High Radiators and etc.

Dating Model T's isn't an exact science.

I have a 24 Coupe which is a very late 24 that 'technically' is a 25. It has wood structure details and a few other things that came along in early 25.

My Grandfather always called it a 24 but over the years inspection stations paperwork (which he kept) would call it a 24 about half the time and a 25 the other times!
