I have a bunch of Air Friction carbs. I am going thru my stuff to find things to use for my speedster project that Im going to build this fall. Are they a useable carb.? any problems with rebuilding them.? They seem to be a pretty common item, so they may have been popular back in the day... I have rebuilt lots of carbs thru the years, but I have never even taken one of the Air Friction carbs apart.

Can you post a picture or 2 of 1? I have never heard of 1.If you can find replacement needle and seats if needed and make your own gaskets, then go for it. It is not that hard to swap out for a NH if you have to.

They must have worked well. Lots of them exist today.

Royce. I was thinking the same thing. I have about 10 of them and they are on e-bay all the time. They useally do not go for a lot of money either. Just hoping to hear from someone who has used them and maybe some pointers or suggestions. I can fix almost anything, but I have learned that half the battle is ask questions, lots of folks have been there before me .......
