Just rec'd my copy of the new booklet put together by Jarvis Eriickson. Well worth many times the money he is offering it for. You could certainly live a lifetime and not see most of these neat views of the merc. Not sure I'm doing him a favor, as he is certainly losing money on every one sold. I recd the browntone copy, and it is incredibly well done. If you have ANY interest in these cars or just speedsters in general ,it is a must-have.
Ditto. A very enjoyable walk through time with some special Mercury speedsters. I received my tan copy and have really enjoyed it. If you hate speedsters -- probably not at the top of your wish list. It contains many new facts and features about the Mercury bodies that I had not noticed before. As Mark Twain said, "If you pick up a cat by the tail you will learn a lot about cats." And Jarvis has clearly picked up the Mercury Bodied speedsters by the tail and has a wealth of information. Some of that information he casually shares as he describes a little about the photos and often the people in them. The ordering information is on the MTFCA classified site at: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/3487/444805.html?1400327478

Jarvis is really nice fella, this is him in the flashy jumpsuit (Mercury style!) at Hershey good golly, 10 years ago?
Dan neither you are Jarvis has changed a bit in looks, Two very knowledgeable T People.
They don't get any better than Jarvis, or Dan either for that matter. I supplied several Mercury pictures to Jarvis that are probably in that book.
yes they are, Larry, and credited to "original Smith" whoever that is !

This book is at the top of my all time favorites. A wonderful gallery of photos you won't find anywhere else. I recommend this book to all speedster enthusiasts.
