After removing the original dash from my '14 Touring, I found some areas that were hidden for years and reveal a nice, red color. The pictures make it look orange in hue, but believe me, they are pretty red. Does anyone have a good stain that matches the red the Ford used?

I just removed the brass edging and the red stain appears to have soaked all the way through the dash. Again, the pictures don't show the true red of the stain - it looks orangesh in the photos.

There have been several threads. Here is another. The Laurel Mountain Forge Cherry is an excellent choice. 4 oz is MORE than enough. My 1913 is stained with it (see profile photo).

Charles - that sure looks like the red on the dash I have. Is there different "red" colors from Laurel Mountain Forge and if so, which did you use?
