Steve,
Did not see you there today. Will you be setting up tomorrow? Can't wait to see your stuff. A guy showed up with a good collection and a couple of speedsters at fire sale prices. If anyone wants a cool T speedster that needs very little to hop in and enjoy, Auburn is the place to be in the morning. They both have Ruckstellls and Rocky brakes. One has a whippet radiator and wire wheels, Ricardo head and Stromberg downdraft.. $6500. other has nice wood wheels and neat fat man wheel, $5500. Both are lowered about four inches. I bought a complete Rajo B head from this guy for a grand. Has issues, but is a runner. Lots of T stuff showing up, join us there, deals to be had!
Erik

We had a great day at the meet. Did not sell out spaces so the club's take may be down this year. The good news is is the number of T parts buyers was good. We saw faces not usually there as we did not have it the same weekend as the speedster run this year. We sold quite a bit of stuff and made some great buys. Turns out the Rajo I bought in the dark is a BBR. Their fastest pushrod eight valve model. Not sure if we'll flip it or put it on one of our cars.
Met up with some of the Nor Cal forum guys too. Jay was taking lots of pics so I hope he gets some of them on here. Don't miss it next year!
Erik

Eric, your right great turn out, I saw lots of T parts this year, all helping each other to keep the tradition, Going . Jay gave me a cd about years of the pictures on this forum , I traded for a rock, we both collect gem stones and such dig for rocks and T parts. This cd will be at the dinner club run-on ,video , all rare footage. It's 9 pm pct time and I just recovered from the event , lots of credit to Motherlode-T's , to put this forward and to know what it takes to put this swamp meet on ,for all those attended. The yard Art folks were also out and they payed full asking price for stuff. T dash switch plate with a small flower and a pot in the ammeter hole. , I may just have to do one . Ok it's now back driving again on weekends , hit the San Jose endurance run ?

I attended Auburn three years, consecutively, to dispose of extra parts bought, in support of four pet projects. I found the event to be well organized and lending favorably toward satisfaction between sellers and buyers. I enjoyed bumping into familiar people, in the hobby: M. Webb, L. Smith, R. Gould, E. Barrett and many others of the local club, who will not remember me, as a low profile enthusiast. Also, a special thanks to Jay, handing out his pic CDs. I'd recommend this meet/exchange to anyone within' reasonable distance of travel.
