Did Ford ever make a Ford 8N or 9N tractor and paint it YELLOW??
Not sure on that, but up until just a few years ago Oklahoma highway maintenance tractors had to be caution yellow. Don't know when they changed the law, but now you can see all different colors owned by the state.
I don't think so. The earliest Ford tractors I've seen that were yellow were the later model's starting in the mid 50's with the 800 series.
But anything is possible.
This is a 9N. He said he just likes yellow.
1801 series that came out in '53 was the first yellow industrial Ford.
YES. Ford along with Deere, International and others sold tractors to State Governments who bought them for the highway boys to use for mowing and other roadside chores. The actual color was called "Industrial Yellow". My dad had a 9N painted that color and I had a Farmall A of the same shade.
