Soak in CLR, then use non scratch kitchen scrub pad.

I take them apart, then scrub with Scotch Brite and WD40.

Try oven cleaner. That stuff does a great job cleaning porcelain.

An SOS pad works great. The fine steel wool and the soap cleans the porcelain really nice.

Wont scratch the porcelain either.

A kitchen/bathroom sink/tub cleaner like Comet or an equivalent. I found it works great, after all, most tubs and/or sinks are porcelain.
