I just showed this video to my son when he asked me if he could put demountable rims on his Model T. I can read him like a book and said no way.

They should have at least swapped the front and rear tires instead of just putting them back on where they came off.

How can you drive a car with only one rear wheel turning.?
Do you really think the locked the rear end and the disconnected the left rear drive axle? I doubt.
I say the video is a fake.

Fake or not, how many were hoping they would drop the lug nuts?

Pfff... Now THIS is an impressive tire change:

As for the original post, I would imagine to drive a RWD on two wheels and still put power to the ground you'd either need a locking diff (which clearly wouldn't work here) or enough emergency brake applied to keep the airborne wheel from turning. I bet it's hell on the diff to do that, not to mention the brakes, but I'm guessing these guys don't much care.

They've proven the first Law of Nature - Survival of the Fittest. Once they invented Arabic Numerals nothing else followed.

Years ago when I was a kid my dad took us the see a Joey Chitwood thrill show at the fair. They changed a tire just like that. Of course they were wearing a lot of safety equipment. Just one slip of the driver and those five guys would had been road pizza.

Yep, Tim, you're right. Don't think anything can trump that! My first thought was this gal is suicidal...but it's obviously something she, as a trained wing walker, is probably accustomed to doing. Hmmm, wonder if anyone has (or would) try "in-flight" fueling of a Model T?? LOL...now that would be stupid!!

My parents took me to a lot of Joey Chitwood shows and never seen them change a tire like that.
