5 car shows and four trophies.. The one I didn't get a trophy in was a display only show so it really didn't count.
This one was at the local high school and I almost didn't make it go the show.
At first ran into a flat tire front tire. After a bit of analysis I replaced a leaky valve and it was OK. (damn those new valves)
Next my newly filled Jack would not go up - it went up but would not stay up. My old jack also had a problem so I dragged out my bottle jack and it worked OK.
I started the car but when I put the bottle jack away the T motor stopped working.
I switch to the Mag, pulled on the crank and it started.
When I switched back to the battery it stopped again so I figured I had a problem with the battery wiring.
Since I was running out of time I headed for the car show on the mag.
When I got there I redid the wires to the battery with a group of people watching
When I turned the switch to battery I got free start.
People applauded and I became a hero of some type.
When trophy time came I found out that I won the Antique class trophy wooppeee!!
Fred, Was it you or the car that won the trophy?
LOL I might have been a bit confused and received the ugliest driver trophy I'll have to check!
A Ferrari California was parked next to T during the show and near the end a Testarossa showed up
On the way home I heard a slight grinding in the rear when I turned two corners so I'll have to find out what is wrong. I did the thrust washers a few years ago, and there is no humming from the rear. I am hoping it is just a brake dragging other wise I have to make a decision about working on the T or the motor.
In the meantime I am Jack less and will be heading to Harbor freight for a new one. One might say I don't have Jack &**(
