I finally removed my old top and hope to install a new top soon. I took the pieces out of the box that they have been in since 2010.

Will the folds take care of themselves over time? Should I and can I iron the pieces to get the fold lines out?

I have the video from Vince Iaccino so that will help with the installation.

I would not iron them, but lay them out flat in the sun on a hot summer day (like we're having here now in N. Calif.

90 degree day and a black top driveway works great, just lay it out around 11 am, now go get your sandwich and chips and beverage of choice. Sit down in the shade and enjoy your lunch, at high noon wipe your face off dust the crumbs off your shirt and get ready to go to work.
You'll find that your top is now about as soft as a fresh pizza dough and ready to install. This has worked for us twice very easy to stretch with 99% wrinkle free installation.

I have ordered top material from Langs, and it comes folded. The sun, and a hot day helps, but as I recall it takes a few more days for the fold marks to completely disappear.
