How should the starter button be mounted?
Dose it bolt to the wood floorboard? My car has it mounted to a homebrew steel plate which is not correct. I don't know if my car didn't originally have a starter which may be the reason for the steel plate and no factory bracket?
Thanks for your help!
Justin.
Should have a bracket like this:

Justin, You should have two holes on the top of the left frame rail that the starter bracket shown in Gregs thread bolts to. These two holes will be the correct size and spacing for the bracket.
