Some of the old-timers out there will remember Alvin.
In today's Jamestown (NY) Post-Journal:
"Mildred V. Anderson, 94, formerly of 173 Hotchkiss St., passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Alvin E. Anderson, whom she married April 12, 1947, and who died Feb. 13, 2007. She...had resided in Jamestown since 1939. (Mildred) had worked in the office of Jamestown Finishing Products, as well as the Clyde G. Jones Real Estate office. Mildred also was a partner with her husband in Alvin E. Anderson Antique Auto Parts for many years."
Our sympathy to the family.
R.V. - Are they any relation to you? Just wondering...
Keith
Yrs ago I bought TT parts from Mr. Anderson
Keith: No; no relation.
I met Alvin and his wife back in 1973, when I got out of the Navy. They were very nice Christian people. I purchased some really nice NOS parts from Alvin on that trip.
