Sad news today. The old car hobby has lost a very great man. Tom Stewart, of Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, passed away last night, in his 81st year. Tom was a personal friend, and a regular participant in most AACA, HCCA, MTFCA, HASC events, as well as The Old Car Festival and Hershey. Tom was well known for his love for the antique car hobby and proudly owned a beautiful Canadian 1909 model T Touring car since 1952 that he bought from the 2nd owner. Tom had the history of the car since new. It was actually sold new in our area.
Funeral arrangements are unknown at this point, but I will post when they are made known. Here is a photo of Tom at the OCF in 2008.
Darren,
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend and the loss to our hobby. We will be praying for the family as they go through this difficult time.
Respectfully submitted,

Sad news. I spent a some time with him last year talking T's at the Steam Show in Milton last September. Great guy, and he sure did love that 1909.....RIP Tom.
Please pass my condolences on to his family.
We have lost a great friend & Model T guy.Every Friday night Tom & I would go out for fish & chips. He had a great knowledge of Woodstock & Model T Fords. We had great talks about the history Woodstock or Model T adventures.I always kidded him about writing a book about his 60 plus years of enjoying his T.But he said he wasn't a writer.
I have heard people say that some of the best people you will have as a friend are old car people.Tom was one of them.Rest in peace Tom
