Oh man, that just makes me sick. I hate it for the owner.

Lucky for us, most or all of these bums wouldn't know how to drive a Model T.

He definitely looks a little "out there" but around these parts that's kind of a fad these days.

Another good reason to shut off the gas when you stop! The clown wouldn't have gotten a block away. Looks like he rolled it from the damage I see--back wheel is at a strange angle. Hmm, aftermarket horns on it too. Lookit all the front end damage too.
No money to pay off the damage either, I'll bet! In the old days we would have just hung the guy up to dry--but that's not the "right" thing to do nowadays, is it?
Good thing it's not my car, as I'd figure a way for that guy to join the Darwin pool.

Thats why the weird accessory anti-theft devices for Ts usually fetch a good price, rare to have one stolen, but why take the chance.

Was that a car, James Bissel was trying to sell?

Here in Seattle last week there was an armed hijacking of an 80 year old lady, the three thugs started the car but didn't know how to drive a stick shift and ran away. The lady was laughing
when she was telling the patrol man.

Looks like that is not the original motor maybe a V-6 or small V-8 probably with an automatic so he didn't have to know how to drive a "real" model A...just select a gear and mash the gas! Still I feel empathy for the owner, I once found a 55 Studebaker pick-up that was stolen from me in the Chena river (Fairbanks)

I blew up the photo of it being hauled out of the river, standard Model A distributor, so it's an original style engine. A Model A is fairly close to a modern 3 speed standard tranny car, so driving it isn't so difficult--but if you have the gas turned off, it's rather difficult for one who doesn't know about that shut off (or if you forget that you turned it off, it's hard for the owner too! -- Don't ask me how I know about that one!! :-)
