My 1914 Touring only has 7 leaves in the rear and probably should have 8 leaves. My springs have the spring clip that mounts from the top and the clip may be riveted to the spring. (It does not have the type that have a curled end on one of the springs.) This link shows the ends of my springs. http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/411944/451807.html
Does anyone have pictures that show the correct rear springs? I need to find a complete set or will need to find which one is missing from mine.
Thanks
Apparently you have your choice of clip styles.
So you want eight-leaf tapered rear springs, with either type of clip.
Dennis, Check out these guys: www.t-springs.com
Here are a couple of threads on tapered rear springs with pictures:

Thanks. I will try to take a better picture of my springs and also measure the length of the top spring.
Ford had two different styles of springs during that period. The most common is the curled leaf type, but there are a few with the riveted clip around too. They are both correct.
