Speedway is not a prime Model T and Model A parts house, but if they have something you want, one can not complain about their shipping. Tuesday 9:30 AM I ordered the 4'x6' sheet of heat/sound insulation. I requested normal shipping figuring I could wait a week to get it. 10:45 Wednesday AM the UPS man rolled up with my package. WOW! 25 hours and 15 minute shipping. They do advertise that if you call before 3:00 pm, your order is filled that day. They also advertise that 60% of all shipping locations gets to you in one day.
Just wanted to pass that along.
Great Company to do business with and their returns are handled right away, even if it's your fault.
Great company built on service and quality.
I've never ordered something from Speedway, but I've looked at their catalogs and dreamed. Seems like anything you need for any sort of performance boost for any automobile ever built is in their inventory.
On a side note, I highly recommend everyone to visit the American Museum of Speed, which is owned by the Smith family. I was lucky enough to visit before "Speedy" Bill's passing, although I didn't get to meet the man himself. There's something of interest to anyone with an automotive fancy. There's a beautiful display of Model T accessories. And I mean beautiful. If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop by and give them a visit.
I just bought some A tail lights from them. Good outfit. PK
