I decided to swap out the Jumbo Planetor transmission in the '14 that I keep in Florida and put it in the '27 that I keep in the mountains where the intermediate gear will come in handy. I never had it out before and when I pulled the torque tube out the U-joint did not come with it. I assumed someone had just not inserted the pin to hold it in place but now that I am installing it in the '27 I find that the shortened drive shaft is not even drilled for a pin to hold the U-joint in place. I am assuming that the pin is not necessary because the shaft goes into the auxiliary transmission and not into the rear but was hoping that someone else could confirm that as I don't want to put everything together and have a problem.
