I had a question about the 1922 Cowl / Hood Lacing.

Does anyone have a picture of the correct way to complete this job? I have seen many threads on the later cars but not allot on the earlier cars like my 1922 Touring. I am guessing that I do not need the rivets but need nails instead.

A picture of where to start and where to end would be nice too.

Thanks

See these threads. Probably should be the same the same as my '17 roadster except your metal trim will includes a rain gutter whereas my '17 metal trim does not. Also, note the firewall that my dad re-did - I believe he used carpet trim nails or the decorative nails that are used for installing roller shade brackets.

The correct cowl lacing is approximately half the width of the metal trim - not the full width, also discussed below. I recommend using the radiator shell lacing for the cowl.
