I just want to say hello to John Eaton and his friends in Berwick, Nova Scotia, they are forming a new MTFCI chapter. John called me after watching all my videos of my 1917 Canopy Express Delivery on youtube ( www.youtube.com/user/warrenh49 ). John is planning on building one just like it and wanted to know if I could be of any help, of course I said yes. The only thing that gives us Model Ters more pleasure than driving our Ts is helping another T enthusiast with their projects.

Happy motoring,

Warren

That must be one of those little-known "narrow-track" Model T's. :-)

Mike, I'm not sure what happened when I tried to down size the original photo. However after much hard work and a lot of fabrication and welding on my T, I think I may have fix the problem.

Happy motoring,

Warren

Great barn find!

Thanks Mike, seeing that you're a Model T restorer, you know how much work it would take to fix my T. I found it in Alstead, New Hampshire while doing some appraisal work for an estate settlement back in 2009 and it was love at first site! It was a true barn find (more precisely a plastic Quonset hut find). The first thing I did was to have my good friend and Model T expert Dick Welch rebuild the carburetor. I installed a new fuel tank, gas line, charged the battery and that is all it took to get my 1917 Model T running after sitting practically outside for thirteen years! The following spring I took it over to Dick Welch's garage and had him check it out completely to make sure that it would be road worthy. In 2011 I had Dick rebuild the engine, transmission and magneto and I have been enjoying many hours of happy motoring ever since.

Hello John, thanks for your post. I am sharing some photos of what I believe is the best part about owning and driving a Model T and that is the interest it generates with people of all ages. Having an antique vehicle that can be shared with anybody and everybody that has an interest is great fun.

Happy motoring,

Warren
