I am looking for information on removable coupe posts. Pictures, measurements, and hardware info.
Thanks , Rick

Are you asking about the removable posts in the 1917-18 Coupelets?

I'll post again to get this back up to the top.

I don't have any specific info on those posts, but others here probably can help you. There are several regulars here who are working on '17 & '18 Coupelets.

Feel free to jump in here, Guys! :-)

Here's one thread where Åke Österdahl posted a picture of one of his pillars: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/257047/257521.html?1325737261

pillar

You can try ask him about measurements with a message through his profile: http://www.mtfca.com/cgi-bin/discus/board-profile.cgi?action=view_profile&profile=ake_osterdahl-users

Just a thought. Ray Wells, who does beautiful and highly accurate wood reproduction bodies for early Fords, may have what you need.

His business is called "The Craftsman" and I believe there is contact info for him in the list of suppliers accessible on this website's main page.

I believe he is located in El Cajon, near San Diego, in Southern California. He may have dimensions or, if your budget permits, may be able to make some for you.

Hope this helps.

That's a good idea, Mike. Even if Ray doesn't have drawings for the posts, he probably could borrow one from someone in SoCal to use for a pattern.

Rick -- Your profile age doesn't tell us where you are located. Perhaps someone here could suggest someone nearby who would loan you a post to use for a pattern, if you're wanting to make the posts yourself.
