Going there next April for vacation. Any museums of old cars out there? Or old anything interest?
Excuse the ignorance but where is OBX?
Wright Brothers museum in Kitty Hawk is a must.
I'm guessing outer banks?

Also, if you're coming in via RT 158, there is a cool antique place about 10-20 miles or so before you get to the coast. It's got old porcelain signs, gas pumps, fire truck, etc. out front. Hard to miss. They also do stained glass.
Tony,
OBX = Outer Banks, North Carolina.
A Great place to vacation.
The Outer Banks North Carolina. Or lives near by of Norfork Va that I can come by and say hi.
You'll be traveling down 168 - the main road to the Outer Banks. You'll be driving right past many of our club members. Check out our local AACA Region, Tidewater - http://local.aaca.org/tidewater/
We'd love to have you drop in on one of our activities if the timing is right, otherwise we can probably arrange a quick and convenient garage tour to some of our Model T folks.
You might also want to consider a slight detour to visit the Virginia Beach Aviation Museum. There are even a few old cars there including a rare Model T Hucks starter car used to start old prop driven airplanes. Stay in touch here as your plans get firmed up and we can surely help you find some great things to see and people to visit.
Terry
If your coming in on I-40 and using Route 64 to get to OBX be sure and stop here is small but interesting http://www.countrydoctormuseum.org/index.cfm
We are picking up a grand daughter in Norfork, driving to Elizabeth City, Nc to motel. Will spend the time along the entire stretch obx and local inland area.
