One more question....I also have the video and book on steering.....My steering wheel was getting a lot of play and actual movement in the steering wheel itself if you pushed on it up and down or back and forth....I removed the wheel and cover and the pictures below is what I found....If you look closely the top pin hole is oblong and the pin was very loose and wobbly....Question I have is...If I remove the shaft can I ream this hole and make a bronze or brass bushing....or are the oversize pins from the distributors large enough in diameter to make up the difference once reamed....the pins still fit nice in the three gears... Its the steering shaft that seems to be the problem...Thanks Chet...you can tell I am home this week....and doing something creative, or at least trying...
