This year the MTFCA National Tour July, 13 - 18 is driving around in a BIG City. Doesn't sound like a fun place where most of the forum guys would choose to drive a Model T. I hope that the sound of this didn't scare away those of you thinking of coming.

America's Finest City Tour in Rain Free Sandy Eggo, Ca is scheduled to be one of the "finest"
The tour committees have planned some very good routes with exceptional points of interest to be enjoyed.

I'm betting there are still a couple of last minute openings available in case someone has a change of heart or schedule.

Check out the SDMTFC web site or Tony Bowker at AOL for more info.

San Diego is a wonderful city with many beautiful spots with lots of rich history as well as a thriving Naval Air Station and Port.

See You There!
PS Hal... Take the 405... Hee hee

We have been very careful to choose the routes for both ease of driving and timing to avoid the heavy traffic. We will be visiting the beaches during the week when there is less traffic there, and visiting Old San Diego in the morning when parking is easier, in fact we have reserved spaces. We will be going to Mt. Soledad and Point Loma later when the views will be better after morning fog burns off. We will be going to visit the Midway Museum which is a short drive from the hotel. We will be going to some historical areas to the east on the lesser traveled routes, and to the south to see the Olympic Training center and Hotel Del Coronado. Only things necessary are good running T and good brakes. We hope to see you, and looking forward to having a good time.
Norm

I'll be just short of my 973rd birthday, so it will depend on how I am feeling then.... :-)
