somewhere between 1919 and 1922. Does it have a starter? (Cowl lamps suggest 'no')

Aftermarket honeycomb radiator.

Title depends on your state's requirements. Check your state's rules. Where I live, if the vehicle is a 1973 or older, it doesn't get a title. All you need is bill of sale and serial number inspection to get a registration. Heck, you can't even get a title on a new enclosed trailer here.

Derrick -- I see by your profile that you are in Wesley, so you're just a few miles from me here in Fayetteville. Give me a holler and we'll get together. My cell phone is 479-790-4229. Email address is on my profile page.

And I can fill you in on the requirements for getting a title. It use to be easy here in Arkansas if you had a Bill of Sale. But a couple of years ago, the DMV in all its glory changed the procedure. You're not gonna' like it.

Emotions are a wonderful thing. Balancing with a little common sense is good though. Can't really tell the condition from the photos nor can we see what areas could turn into serious money issues. Do all of the parts seem to be there? Can you turn the motor over with the hand crank? This could be anything from a great buy at $4K to a money pit at $1500. Is there a possibility the owner would be willing to file for a lost title? Not sure about your state law but I'd be certain to get a bill of sale at a minimum from the old fellow.

The most economical way to get a Model T (or most any other vintage car) is to buy the nicest one you can find. Restoration can be very satisfying and could keep you in the shop and out of the bars and casinos for a good while but it is rarely the best economical choice. Ask why you want it, how much work do you want to do yourself, and what do you really expect of the car. It could be a lot of fun or ? ? ?

Looks like an older amateur restoration that will be a lot of fun after you invest a bit of elbow grease. With a bill of sale, you can usually get some form of bonded title. As stated above, the procedure varies from state to state. Some make you jump through lots of hoops.

Buy it for $5,000 Insure it for $7,500.

Motor turns and owner has had for over 60+ years, covered for 30. Says its all original except a few parts that went bad over time. IDK. Everything seems to be in place with no rust or body damage except fender on the truck. My hope is to wash it and get it running reliable as possible for a few drives a year. Like_new would be nice, but old and ugly is too!
