Wish many of us were there with you seeing your great city during your tour. My calendar says it starts now right ?
Got my T out, lubricated it, fixed a few loose tacks in the top, checked coolant and adjusted the fan belt, aired up the tires. Washed it. Plan to drive it down to San Diego (about 35 miles) tomorrow for the tour.

See you there Norman...
Looking forward to another Great T Tour and seeing old Touring Friends again!
See You There

Wish you were coming Dave. I was looking forward to seeing you again and meeting your family.
I grew up in San Diego, my last visit there was in 1987 - REALLY wish we could have come for this tour. I hope there are LOTS of pictures - y'all have a great time.
-Kathy
We stopped for the night at the Holiday Inn Express in Bakersfield. We hope to make it through the LA ares around 9:30 A tomorrow and into San Diego early afternoon. Man it's hot our there, almost as bad as Sacramento.
Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hal and Vonnie
Kathy, I also wish you would be going there. We would have been assured of some good pictures of the tour.
Texas T party is also getting nearer.
Hal, I recently found a letter my mom wrote to her folks in 1937 when she and my dad were living in Oildale. She called it an inferno. Yes, Bakersfield gets a bit toasty in the summer.
It's much worse than in 1937, Steve. Older son and wife lived in LeMoore last year. They started having joint pains in December. They came down here for a week, and the pains went away. They went back home, and the pains resumed. It got so bad, my son was on crutches.
They stopped drinking tap water and went to bottled. The pains went away.
