Well about two weeks ago the computer was fried by lightning. I now have a new computer (and a lot less money) with the wonderful windows 8.1 operating system. Now its time to re learn everything I used to know. (most of its still there, they just moved it, changed its name, and added more buttons) Since there is no longer any Outlook Express because they did away with it, I have to figure out a new way to resize photos. (I used to use outlook to resize them for me) Any simple suggestions for a computer dummy. I have used the windows 8 for about a year on my wife's laptop so I know a little about it.(very little). Im having all my photos recovered from my old hard drive to put on the new computer. I had about half of them saved to CD but all my model T stuff was not saved. It is still on the hard drive. Go ahead and scold me now for not saving the T stuff. Ill try to take my scolding well. :-(

Donnie, try Mihov's ImageResizer. It is free and easy to use.

Others will provide some more good solutions.

No suggestions here, just shared misery. I lost the "mother board" in my computer about 10 days ago. I have bought a refurbished one using Windows 7 so I don't need to learn a new system. It should be here in a week or so. Meanwhile, I'm on my laptop, which doesn't have nearly as many features. but at least I can get onto the Forum and play. :-)
