Are the bolts pictured correct for attaching the running boards to fenders on my '26 coupe? They look kind of strange to me. They came from the vendor without needed washers and nuts.

RV Anderson makes correct ones for the various years.

The runningboard bolts are used as is, but the '26-7 fender to RB bolts, assembling horizontally to flanges as they do, are different. It's likely that you got one of the older early sets that don't have the nuts. All the sets have the nuts, now. I will be happy to send them to you if you PM your address. These sets as they are work perfectly for the older cars, up to about 1920, then the small fender bolts need shortened to work on the new type running boards that don't use the wooden blocks. This holds true for all the runningboards from '20 through '25.

Incidentally, cars up through about mid-'15 do not use washers; the drawings and releases state that the ends of the bolts are "to be peened over after assembly."
